Pink for october is like CSS naked day but for a good cause. In this case Matthew Oliphant at Usabilityworks is trying convince thousands of sites to change their designs to incorporate the colour pink and bring notice for National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Great initiative! If I find the time i’m in!

Looks like the picasa beta 3 (No this isn’t Picasa 3 beta) has been set loose by Google according to this article on Digg. There is still alot of work on Picasa at it’s current state to keep up with it’s competitors like ACDSee or iView Media Pro for the professionals among us but it looks like this release is a step in the right direction.
