Performancing metrics in … Google Analytics out!
I’m still running them alongside eachother for the coming week but what i’ve seen at my Performancing metrics dashboard ’till now is only positive. It doesn’t suffer from information overload like google Analytics does, it’s simply to navigate and overview. It just gives me the stats I need, when I need it. I’m holding my horses for now but i’m fairly sure i’ll stop tracking with Google Analytics and switch to Performancing Metrics within a few days.
My Ruby on Rails site is also runnning Performancing Metrics. I’m using it alongside Shaun Inman’s Shortstat. I do prefer PMetrics. Shortstat is far too basic.
Unfortunately, I haven’t had the chance too try Google Analytics. I’m looking forward to see what the buzz is about.
Another service I wasn’t able to try yet is Measure Map. That’s number one on my wishlist (as a Rails enthousiast).
I wonder when Google will decide to make its stat tools publicaly available…
