Some seriously impressive Flash 8 experiments can be found on Andre Michelle’s website. There are various nature effect demo’s with displacement map effects among the most fantastic. The water and fire experiments are really impressive and I would love to see some of them executed in a full flash design. Can’t wait for Billy Bussey’s new Flash 8 work or Eric Jordan’s with the new Flash 8 techniques.

Talking of Billy Bussey, when the hell BBStudio’s new website finally going online? It’s about time he’d start to put some serious work on it.

Today sucked, it was the worst day since 2006 took off, actually there wasn’t any day worse than today in 2005 either. It’s been freezing for the bazillionth day in a row, my car is so damn dirty i have to use my windshield sprinklers every 100 meters, my grandmother is in hospital for examinations, while in the hospital fell from her bed and broker her hip, my girlfriend broke the toilet with a flooded bathroom as result and what is worse, i have to work tomorrow so it probably won’t be fixed by early next week.

This is not the average kind of post about where designers get their inspiration from, well the title suggests otherwise but i’d like to point out some things that make my life easier as a designer. There are dozens of things I can get inspiration from, sometimes just driving to work gives me this great idea and makes me wish i’d had a voicerecorder at hand because most likely by the time i get at work i already forgot about it. That actually makes me think, i should really start looking to buy a PDA of some sort … the Palm T|X or Tungsten E2 really appeal me.
